Project Architect Responsible for QA/QC – 20-24 hours/week

We are seeking to hire an experienced Project Architect to join our firm on a part-time basis in Philadelphia, NYC or Princeton to conduct QA/QC reviews across multiple projects. We are looking for a creative, talented, and team-oriented candidate. You should be passionate about design, work well across multiple teams, and communicate your ideas and approach in a clear and thoughtful manner. You will work collaboratively with multiple project teams, to ensure successful and technically sound delivery of projects that vary in scale, complexity, and type.

Requirements and Skills:

• Passion for design excellence across multiple project typologies, scale, and complexity
• Previous experience performing Quality Assurance and Quality Control work across multiple projects that vary in scale, type, and complexity
• Extensive technical expertise and understanding of various building systems
• Strong experience in organizing design and construction documentation
• Experience in coordinating consultant work, specific focus on design and system integration across multiple trades
• Construction Administration experience on complex projects
• Familiarity with various project delivery methods
• Project specification expertise
• Strong and respectful verbal and written skills; within the office, to consultants, contractor and clients
• Actively participate as a mentor at a project specific level and across the firm
• A commitment to responsibility, integrity, and accuracy
• Experience with client interface, networking + relationship building
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Registered Architect
• Legal working status in the United States
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
