Intermediate Architect for Soho-based Architecture Design Firm

Carlos Zapata Studio is an award-winning architecture and design firm based in SoHo, New York.

We are seeking a self-motivated Intermediate Project Architect with strong communication and coordination skills to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and consultants on a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• Architectural license preferred.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of full-time professional experience.
• Experience with commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Strong working knowledge of local building codes and regulatory requirements, as well as the International Building Code (IBC).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate project documentation from concept design through construction documents.
• Coordinate with consultants and project teams throughout the design process.
• Contribute to the development of design presentations and technical documentation.

Software Requirements

• AutoCAD
• Rhino 3D
• Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
• Revit (Preferable)
• Twinmotion (Preferable)
