Project Architect

Compensation: $100,000 to $120,000 Annually
Final compensation offered will be based on candidates' relevant skills, experience, and licensure.

We are experiencing exciting growth and have opportunities for a well-rounded Project Architects with experience or exposure working in a variety of sectors and project types; Multifamily, Hospitality, infrastructure and/or Academics.

Position Summary

The Project Architect you will manage and deliver projects of varying scale and complexity. This position requires a balance of design sensibility, technical expertise, and strong communication skills. You’ll work closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and to Arrowstreet’s high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, facilitate and/or participate in client meetings and help communicate technical solutions clearly
  • Produce and oversee detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (structural, MEP, civil, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct quality control reviews and ensure accuracy of technical deliverables
  • Support PIC and project managers in scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Provide design and technical guidance to junior staff and team members
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction phases

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing licensure) preferred
  • 8+ years of professional experience; well-rounded in all aspects of a project design, technical detailing and management
  • Strong proficiency in Revit with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Solid understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and permitting processes
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
