Architectural Project Manager

New York, NY, USA Full Time
Compensation: $100,000 to $120,000 Annually
Health insurance stipend; IRA with 3% firm contribution; Paid time out and holidays

4–5 years of experience in an architecture firm, with meaningful NYC housing project experience required

The Role

We're looking for an Architectural Project Manager to lead a wide variety of project types, with a concentration on residential and mixed-use housing projects from schematic design through construction administration. Project managers are responsible for coordinating consultants, managing budgets, keeping schedules on track, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and housing agencies.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across design and construction phases
  • Develop Revit and/or Autocad deliverables assisted by junior project staff
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and specialty consultants
  • Contribute to client meetings and maintain clear, consistent communication
  • Review construction documents for completeness and quality
  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, and construction administration processes

What We're Looking For

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
  • 4–5 years of experience in an architecture firm, with meaningful NYC housing project experience required
  • Experience with affordable, market-rate, or mixed-income residential projects strongly preferred
  • Fluency in Revit and AutoCAD required
  • Strong working knowledge of NYC Building Code, NYC Multiple Dwelling Law, Zoning Resolution, and DOB permitting processes
  • Experience filing with NYC DOB
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and consultant teams
  • Clear communicator — written and verbal
